японская иена (стандартная денежная единица Японии); = 100 сенам. Курс по отношению к доллару США на межбанковском валютном рынке устанавливается в виде колеблющегося курса без ограничения пределов его изменений. Вывоз национальной валюты разрешен в пределах 5 000 000 иен на одно лицо. Ввоз иностранной валюты свободный, вывоз нерезидентами - в пределах ввезенных сумм. Валютный контроль осуществляется Банком Японии (см. BOJ) и Министерством финансов. В денежном обращении находятся банкноты в 500, 1000, 5000 и 10 000 иен, а также монеты в 1, 5, 10, 50 и 100 иен; = Y
